Dan Davis retired on April 28, 2017 from his role as Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Business Development at CenturyLink
During his 14 years at CenturyLink Dan served over 10 years as Deputy General Counsel. Dan also had responsibility for various CenturyLink operational functions including carrier relations, telecom services supply chain and other regulatory functions. Prior to CenturyLink Dan was General Counsel for a start-up telecom company, which went public, grew to more than $20m ARR and later served as defacto chief restructuring officer during that company’s bankruptcy. Prior to Digital Teleport, he was a senior associate in the law firm of Bryan Cave, providing corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions advice primarily to technology companies.
Dan can provide mentoring in corporate and venture finance, legal/regulatory matters, leadership recruiting and development, organizational and operational scaling, technology strategy and corporate strategy.
He earned his BA from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana (with significant engineering coursework), his JD from St. Louis University and his Executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
